Spatial Workshop mapping software gives you access to geographical information stored in sources like Oracle, Smallworld or ESRI and combines geospatial data with business information and background maps from other sources.

Spatial information organized in line with its use
Spatial Workshop allows you to use different types of spatial information each in the most suitable way.
Classify your business information in foreground, data of major importance, background, which is less important, analysis results or in due course real-time data.
Foreground data may be analyzed and queried geographically.
Analysis data are the results and the working sets of you analysis process. You can view and report them each in their own most representative way.

 

Add value to your existing data
Within Spatial Workshop existing spatial data can be extended through automatic generation of derived information. Some examples:

  • create spatial relations between business objects, that do not exist in the original data sources
  • create new geographic and business data like labels, points, area or calculate values
  • link spatial information with maps, documents, web site, etc.

Query and report business information

Queries can be defined through a graphical user interface (query builder).

Results of queries can be exported to spreadsheets, Google KML, Arc Shape and other formats.

On the desktop and in the field
Spatial Workshop may be used as a desktop application or as a mobile field system (Smart Client). Data may be taken to the field by using the standard replication techniques from these systems. The user will have access to up-to-date information which will be synchronized via standard replication techniques.

 

Web services
The products of Spatial Eye have been developed on basis of the Microsoft .NET platform. This means they make optimal use of the facilities of Windows XP and future Vista operating system. More importantly installation and maintenance can be executed in standard, manageable and easy ways.
