Spatial Workshop software gives you on-the-fly access to data in a wide range of sources: databases, CAD-files, GIS-systems and from the internet.

Spatial Workshop offers functionality to visualize, analyze and report geospatial and administrative data.
You can make great maps dependent on your data, your analysis or cartographic context. 
Business objects are visualized in themes that offer the user transparent insight in the available data sources.


 

Spatial information organized in line with its use

Spatial Workshop makes you use your data in the most suitable way. 
Data is integrated into Geospatial Business Objects that represent your business information. You integrate the available data into more than just maps, point, lines and areas. The Business Objects represent the integrated business value of your data.
You arrange your information into foreground data of major importance, background data, which is less important and analysis results.
Foreground data may be analyzed and queried.
Analysis data are the results of you analysis processes. You can view and report them each in their own most representative way.

Add value to your existing data

A powerful expression language allows you to extend the structure of your data and extend standard analysis and reporting functions to your own needs:

• create spatial relations between business objects, that do not exist in the original data sources;
• create formula's and expressions as if you were working with spreadsheets;
• create new geographic and business data like labels, points, area or calculate values;
• integrate data from the internet, like Google Earth and Microsoft Bing;
• create smart links and link information with maps, documents, websites, etc.

Query and report business information

Queries can be defined through a graphical user interface (query builder).

Results of queries can be exported to spreadsheets, Google KML, Arc Shape and other formats.

On the desktop and in the field

Spatial Workshop may be used on the desktop application or in the field. Data may be taken to the field by using the standard replication techniques from the (spatial) databases. The user will have access to up-to-date information which will be synchronized via standard replication techniques.
 

Web services

The products of Spatial Eye have been developed on basis of the Microsoft .NET platform. The products make optimal use of the facilities of Windows XP, Vista and Windows 7 operating system. Install and maintain the Spatial Workshop software in line with your Microsoft Office applications.
