For Spatial Workshop users 1 plus 1 is more than just 2. Through aggregation and transformation of data, like for example globe services, data visualization and earth data, users can create new information and add value to their business processes.
Within Spatial Workshop you create collections of Spatial Business Objects. The properties of these business objects are taken directly from data in one or more data sources or these properties may be derived from the existing data and using one of a set of pre-defined generators.
Spatial Workshop comes with a range of standard generators to create derived object attributes, like:
Annotations from polygon(s)
Area from polygon(s)
Length from curve(s)
Points at centroid of polygon
Smart links to web pages, etc.
