Through a distribution contract with Spatial Eye, GE Energy offers its customers compelling new functionality for Smallworld Geospatial Analysis and integration.
GE Energy and Spatial Eye sign distribution agreement
GE Energy and Spatial Eye have signed a distribution contract during the Emea Smallworld User Conference in Noordwijk, the Netherlands. GE Energy will incorporate Spatial Eye software into its product offering for utilities and telecom companies worldwide.
The product, Smallworld GeoSpatial Analysis (Smallworld GSA), will offer GE Energy’s customers compelling functionality to integrate and analyze their geospatial data for business processes like strategic asset management, market analysis, customer care, network operations, etc.
The rapidly changing market context for energy and telecom companies creates an increasing need for companies to have integrated and accurate insight in their spatial and non-spatial data. Their knowledge workers need to analyse, slice&dice and report data from multiple sources within the organization, directly from their desktop.
Smallworld GeoSpatial Analysis (Smallworld GSA) will be an important component in GE Energy’s product offering, allowing its customers to prepare and optimize their business for current challenges, like data warehouse integration, asset management, Smart Grid, Sustainable Cities and Digital Energy,
Spatial Eye will continue to market its products worldwide into other market segments, like local authorities, central government, marketing, transportation, etc.; directly or through its international partner network. Spatial Eye software is being used for business challenges, like spatial analysis, spatial data integration, asset management, risk based strategic asset renewal, operations support, dial before you dig and process support.
Spatial Eye brings geospatial information to the desk of every employee.
